Language patterns

As each performance location involves different actors, the briefing has deliberately been cut down to one day. Any time-consuming memorising of texts is therefore unnecessary. Words, sentences, text segments are prompted via intercom and are repeated as accurately as possible. When multiplication makes the voices blur, new patterns emerge. The actors are also presented with words that don’t make sense until the spectators perceive the interference patterns. The prime objective is to give the language a performative, musical or acoustic expression rather than make it intelligible.
